Bellary, Karnataka, Nov 20 (UNI) Even as Bharatiya Janata Party gearing up to stage war against Janata Dal (Secular) for blocking its in roads in South, BJP leader and Karnataka Legislative Council member Janardhana Reddy today announced release of a book containing details of former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's involvement in Rs 150 Crore corruption in Mining.
Addressing press persons here today, Mr Reddy said that the book contains complete details with supporting documents about involvement of Mr Kumaraswamy in the corruption.
He said that the untitled book would be distributed during the campaign of the BJP against JD(S) and the people would be asked to give title to the book.
Replying to a question, Mr Reddy said that "if Mr Kumaraswamy was not involved in the corruption, why should JD(S) ask for Mining Portfolio and deny BJP the right to assume office".
Meanwhile, Bandh and burning of effigies of former Prime Minister and JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda and Mr Kumaraswamy was reported from Shikaripura, the home town of Mr Yeddyurappa, Hubli and in Mandya district.
