New Delhi, Nov 20 (UNI) After playing the role of a cricketer with aplomb, winning the Twenty20 World cup and following it up with a series victory over arch-rivals Pakistan after 24 years, Mahender Singh Dhoni today took up the role of a painter.
India's one-day captain Dhoni, in a promotional event, tried his hand at painting though profusely explaining the gathering that he is a much better cricketer than a painter.
''I was never good at painting. Whenever my teacher in primary school used to tell me to draw something I used to end up painting something else.
''In the end he told me to draw an aeroplane so that I end up painting a peacock, rest my teacher used to give finishing touches,'' he said.
Dhoni was looking like a model, as he walked the ramp in T-shirt designed by kids.
Mahi, as he is fondly called, also said, ''I can't do much of creative things except for using gel to give different shapes to my hair.'' The 26-year-old showed his creativity by painting natural objects in the T-shirt, rounding off by giving his signature.
