Bellary, Karnataka, Nov 20 (UNI) At a time the when the BJP is gearing up to launch a war against the JD(S), BJP Karnataka Legislative Council Member Janardhana Reddy today announced the release of a book containing details of former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's ''involvement in Rs 150 crore corruption in mining.'' Addressing newspersons here, Mr Reddy claimed that the book contained complete details about Mr Kumaraswamy's involvement in corruption with supporting documents.
He said the book, yet untitled, would be distributed during the BJP's campaign against the JD(S).
The people would be asked to give a suitable title to the book, he said.
To a question, Mr Reddy said, ''if Mr Kumaraswamy is not involved in corruption, why should the JD(S) ask for Mining portfolio and deny the BJP the right to assume office.'' Meanwhile, a report from Hubli, Mr Yeddyurappa's hometown, said the effigies of former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and Mr Kumaraswamy were burnt by agitating BJP activists.
