'Science Express', exhibition concluded at Jammu
Jammu, Nov 19 (UNI) A four-day 'Science Express' Exhibition was organised by Indo-German Scientific Community today at Jammu-Tawi railway station here.
Official sources said that exhibition received overwhelming response from the schools, colleges and general public as well.
''The 'Science Express' a special exhibition on nine bogie train was designed to answer 12 advanced areas of research in the field of science and technology,'' sources told UNI adding that these are designed to nurture curiosity in viewers and create interest in pursuing scientific research as a career.
However, 'Science Express' focused on the scientific achievements made by the scientific fraternity in various fields in recent years and it will cover 57 destinations in India.
The special train was flagged off by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh along with Vice Chancellor of Germany from New Delhi and it reached Jammu after covering Kalka, Haridwar and Chandigarh.
