Punjab, Haryana Congress pay tribute to Indira Gandhi

Chandigarh, Nov 19 (UNI) Punjab and Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Late Ms Indira Gandhi on her 90th Birth Anniversary here today.

In the Punjab Congress Bhawan, PPCC general secretaries S Tarlochan Singh and S Raj Pal Singh, vice president Krishna Mittu, secretary Rajinder Kaur and senior Congress leader Rakesh Kumar Sharma paid the tribute.

In HPCC headquarter here, HPCC president and MLA Phool Chand Mullana, former MP Harpal Singh, HPCC general secretary Rajinder Singh, HPCC Legal and Human Rights chairman Thakur Bijender Singh, HPCC Media Department convener Pawan Jain and other workers of the party paid floral tributes to Ms Gandhi.

Similar functions were organised by the District and Block units of the Congress party throught Punjab and Haryana.
