A spokesperson said, Brazil's Gullane Filmes and China's Xstream Pictures will produce ''Plastic City'', will have a sleek film set in Sao Paulo in Brazil, it delves deeply into the psyche of two strange bedfellows mafia and politics. It is about two strangers united deeply in emotions and gratitude and yet, so different in loyalty and attitude.
The film is about them, fighting the demons in their nefarious activities and within themselves. It is also about relations being sacrificed at the altar of ambition.
Infinity, a film bonding company that had guaranteed cash, is branching into film production too. It will soon be launching two full-fledged Hindi films in Mumbai.
Infinity had recently bought a 25 per cent stake in Lumiere. It will be distributing all of Lumiere's (Brazil's premier film distribution company) films in India.
