Mumbai, Nov 19 (UNI) Prices of key metals like Copper heavy, Copper utensils and brass cuttings today rallied on lesser stock supply along with firm advice from London Metal Exchange (LME) along with Kolkata, Delhi and other centres, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) said.
In the ferrous category (per quintal), Copper heavy and Copper utensils gained by Rs 100 owing to heavy demand from industrial users.
Brass utensils, Brass cuttings and Aluminium utensils were also up by Rs 400, Rs 500 and Rs 100 respectively in line with copper.
In Non-ferrous category Copper wire bar and tin slab prices remained unchanged on moderate demand by bulk consumers.
However,zinc slab and lead ingots declined by Rs 300 and Rs 500 respectively on sustained heavy offers by stockists induced by subdued advice from Kolkata and southern regions.
Similarly. nickel cathode, however, declined by Rs ten per kg on weaker advice from global markets.
Following are the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals - Copper heavy: Rs 34,300, Copper utensils: Rs 31,300, Brass utensils: Rs 24,900, Brass cuttings: Rs 26,000 and Aluminium utensils: Rs 10,800.
Non-ferrous metals - Copper wire bars: Rs 37,500, Aluminium ingots: Rs 12,500, Zinc slab: Rs 14,000, Lead ingots: Rs 13,000, Tin slab: Rs 815 per kg and Nickel cathode: Rs 1,480 per kg.
