Chinese youths to visit India for youth exchange programme

Aizawl, Nov 19 (UNI) A 100-member Chinese delegation will visit this state capital for two days on November 21 to participate in a youth exchange programme between India and China, official sources said today.

An understanding on the programme was signed between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chinese premier Hu Jintao during the latter's visit to India in November 2006 to strenghten relationship between both the countries.

According the agreement, 500 youths, each from India and China, would each others country during the next six years.

The first delegation, led by Hu Chun Hua, first secretary of Central Communist Minister, Youth Leaque of China and honorary president of all China Youth Federation.

Official sources also informed that Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga would host a dinner for the delegation.
