Jalgaon, Maharashtra, Nov 18 (UNI) Unidentified persons allegedly broke into a closed branch office of the ICICI Bank here early today and decamped with Rs 90 lakh cash.
The robbers entered the Bank by bending the iron bars of a window situated at the rear side of the building at around 0400 hrs.
They broke open the door of the strong room and stole Rs 90 lakh cash from three boxes (one wooden and two steel), a Police Inspector attached to the town's police station told UNI.
He said the robbery came to light when the Bank's watchman was taking a round of the building. He found some bundles of currency lying at the backside of the building. Then he detected that the iron bars of the window were bent. He immediately informed the Bank officials and the police about the incident, who rushed to the spot.
A dog squad was also summoned to get on the trail of the robbers, however, it went cold at the nearest rickshaw stand. The UNI
