Rain or snow likely in Jammu and Kashmir

Pune, Nov 18 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema and interior Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of interior Karnataka. Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Goa and in some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Rayalseema, coastal Karnataka and Kerala. They were below normal in some parts of north Haryana and Punjab. They were appreciably above normal in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, interior Orissa, Jharkhand, south Haryana and west Rajasthan, and above normal in Gangetic West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, north Madhya Pradesh and in some parts of Bihar. They were normal over the rest of the country.
