Mohun Bagan undefeated winners of Kolkata league

Kolkata, Nov 18 (UNI) Mohun Bagan defeated Mohameddan Sporting 1-0, even as East Bengal slumped to another miserable 2-2 draw against Chirag United today.

Mohun bagan totalled 36 points, while East bengal tallied 26 points.

Mohun Bagan thus won the Kolkata Premier League undefeated for the 11th time when Lalampuian netted the only goal of the match in the 87th minute.

In the other match, East Bengal had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Chirag United. Rahim Nabi gave East Bengal the lead in the 15th minute. But Chirag came back strongly, scoring in the 44th minute through Shankar Oraw and then Theo made it 2-1 for Chirag in the 62nd minute.

Ashim Biswas found the equaliser in the dying minutes.
