India's first commercial hot-air balloon ride venture in Jaipur

Jaipur, Nov 18 (UNI) The Pink city has added another attraction to woo the discerning foreign and domestic tourists here by launching India's first commercial hot air balloon ride venture in te state.

Delhi based E Factor Adventure Tourism Ltd yesterday announced the launch of Sky Waltz, country's first commercial hot air ballooning venture.

The exhibition flight was held at Raj Mahal Palace. Supported by the Tourism Department, the hot air balooning adventures will commence from December 1, in and around Amer Fort area. The department has provided the landing and take off sites for the project.

Kicking off the services in Jaipur, company director Samit Garg said: ''There was a lot of scope for adventure sports in India.

The city being the hottest tourist destinations was the ideal place to launch the services.'' Priced at Rs 14000 per passenger for the one-hour-ride, the sercvices provided by the compnay include door to door pick up and drop service, snacks and beverage and flight certificate.

''We are expecting a good response as we are targetting high spending locals, domestic and foreign tourists alike.'' Mr Garg said initially the company will introduce two balloons with a total seating capacity of 11 passengers on a six-day, a week with two flights daily - one in the morning and another in the evening.
