Sonia launches 'Mega TV' channel

Chennai, Nov 17 (UNI) Congress President and United Progressive Alliance Chairperson Sonia Gandhi inaugurated a new private Tamil Television channel 'MEGA TV' during the All India Congress Committee session in New Delhi today.

According to a press release from 'MEGA TV', regular programmes of the channel would be telecast from November 19 on the birth anniversary of Indira Gandhi.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other Congress leaders conveyed their greetings on the occasion.

UNI
