Probe into issue of arms licenses

Siddharthnagar, Nov 17 (UNI) Police here sady a probe into the issuing of arms licenses to several influencial people having criminal background in the district has begun.

The investigation has been undertaken on the directions of the Uttar Pradesh government.

These licenses issued to almost 13 persons, would be cancelled once the probe completes and stringent action initiated against guilty officials, police said.
