No magic wand with me, Rahul: Sonia
New Delhi, NOv 17 (UNI) Setting the agenda for party workers to face future electoral challenges, Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said neither she nor her son Rahul Gandhi have a magic wand to reinvigorate the party set-up and sought their unstinted support to achieve the party's goal of forming the next governemnt at the Centre on its own.
In her concluding remarks at the day-long AICC session, she said the party constitution was amended to give membership to dedicated Congressmen to actively involve themselves in strengthening the party and meet future challenges.
Ms Gandhi, speaking in Hindi, said there must be proper coordination between the government and the party in states where it was in power.
''In states where the party is not in power the workers face a challenge. In states ruled by the Congress, there is need for close coordination between the party and the government,'' she said, adding that she was confident that the party would face all the challenges.
Ms Gandhi said the focus of the session was on the youth who formed a substantial percentage of the population.
She said the Congress always remained with the poor and the weak.
