Interacting with fans during their visit to a city mall, the Kolkata Tigers stars said they were excited about playing in the league in India.
During their course of visit to the mall in South Kolkata, Craig McMillan, who will captain the Kolkata Tigers, said, '' We are enjoying every bit of the new innovative concept. '' ''We are going to have some intensive practice session for the next seven days. I think that will give us ample time to gel well together and form a competitive unit, '' Mcmillan said.
Not bothered about the star presence in other Indian Cricket League (ICL) sides, the dashing Kiwi said, '' Even we are stars. The stars cannot win you all the matches. It's going to be a team game at the end. Klusener. Darren Maddy are ideal Twenty20 players. '' Klusener was the crowd favourite. He said, ''This is a new challenge for me. Playing in Indian conditions with a relatively bunch of lads will act as an additional motivation. I am sure our presence here will help the youngsters in some way or the other. '' Former India Test keeper-batsman Deep Dasgupta added some local spice to the whole mixture and his ardent war cry may well be needed to draw in the supporters. '' We are going there to make Bengal proud. I hope every Kolkatan is behind us, '' Dasgupta cried out.
