3 kids die of snake bite

Kancheepuram, Nov 17 (UNI) Three minors died of snake bite at Karumkuzhy near Mathuranthakam in the district.

Police said they were bitten by the snake while asleep last night.

While Nandini (5) died on the way to hospital last night itself, her brother Naveen Kumar (2) and relative Ramki (10) died at the Chengalpettu Government Hospital this morning.

The siblings, children of one Thankaraj, had gone to their grandfather Bhoopalan's house to spend the weekend, when the incident occurred.
