Lucknow, Nov 17 (UNI) A city court today sent the three Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists, nabbed yesterday by the Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police, to 14-day judicial custody.

In a in camera hearing, after some people and advocates tried to assault the trio, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Bal Mukund sent them in judicial custody.

Raising anti-Pakistani slogans, a group of advocates earlier tried to rough up the three outside the CJM court.

However, when they were returning from the court, the mob managed to manhandle them.

Additional police force was later rushed to the court to control the situation and save the three Pakistani-trained terrorists from the agitated group.

In 2005, a similar situation had been witnessed at Faizabad district, when people had thrashed the terrorists, who were involved in the Ayodhya fidayeen attack case.

Later, the case was shifted to Allahabad, when no advocate from Faizabad came forward to represent the terrorists.
