Jaipur, Nov 16 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Surface Transport KH Muniyappa today asserted that the political logjam over the Indo-US Nuclear deal would be resolved during the ongoing Winter Session of Parliament.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Muniyappa said ''The standoff over nuclear deal issue will be resolved during the ongoing session and the pact will take its own course.'' Rejecting the possiblity of mid-term polls, Mr Muniyappa said the Manmohan Singh Government was sailing smoothly and there were no threats to the stability of the government.
The Minister said, ''According to today's position there is no possibility of early Lok Sabha election and our government will complete its full term in the office.'' Mr Muniyappa was in the town to participate in the 68th Indian Road Congress which opens here later this evening.
