SMEC to set up 'BPO Park'

Hyderabad, Nov 16: Small and Medium Enterprises Consortium (SMEC), formed by a team of successful US-based NRI entrepreneurs, today announced that it would set up 'SME BPO Park' in the city.

According to a release here, SMEC Executive Director G Srikant said the Andhra Pradesh Government had agreed to support the SMEC by offering infrastructure and other facilities.

It was preparing a detailed project report to build a campus styled environment, including business zones, residential zones, shopping and educational zones with world class conference facilities.

He said at present the SMEC had 100 members and it was planning to become a 200-member group by the end of next month, when its combined turnover would be around Rs 12,000 crore.
