New Delhi, Nov 15 (UNI) After enthralling the nation through their melodious voice on the reality show 'Voice of India', small town youngsters Ishmeet and Harshit are now set to spellbound music lovers in their home towns Ludhiana and Varanasi as the contest to select the winner reaches its finale.
Amid an intense countdown to the finale on Amul STAR Voice of India, what could be a better pre-finale destination for the audiences in their bid to win audience hearts than the home town of the finalists.
So, while their journey to the final will take Ishmeet and Harshit to Ludhiana tomorrow, the musical journey will traverse to Varanasi on Saturday.
The evening in Ludhiana will kick start with a duet performance of Ishmeet and Harshit on the title track of 'Dhol'. This is followed by solo performances of each of the finalists on songs like 'Nagara' and 'Mauja Mauja' from the bollywood blockbuster 'Jab We Met'.
A unique feature of the evening will be the performance on 'Hare Ram' from the hit 'Bhool Bholaiya'. Joining Ishmeet and Harshit on the stage will be Ashpreet, another talented singer from Ludhiana and one of the eleven contestants on the 'Voice of India'.
Sources said the beauty with a husky voice Aishpreet will enthrall the viewers with a foot tapping number 'Namak Ishq Ka.
Adding to the musical crescendo will be playback singer and one of the judges of the contest Alka Yagnik setting the stage on fire when she will join the final two in belting out 'Mohobbat Ho Gayi Hai'.
After performing tomorrow, Harshit and Ishmeet will head for the Ghats of Varanasi on Saturday to cast a musical spell.
A special guest of the evening will be Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan.
Harshit and Ishmeet will start off the musical evening with a classical song 'Albela Sajaan' followed by several foot tapping numbers like 'Mast Kalandar' and 'Jane Kya Hoga'. Harshit will then enthrall his home audiences with the song 'Khaike Pan' and a Qawalli 'Hai Agar Dushman' while Ishmeet will lend his voice to songs like 'Mai Awara' and 'Tumse Milke'.
Rocking the stage with Ishmeet and Harshit in Varanasi will be playback singer and host of 'Voice of India' Shaan as the trio sing to the tune of the peppy number 'You're my love'. The event will culminate with all the judges along with Ravi Kishan coming together and singing 'Jis Desh Mai Ganga Beheti Hai'.
Ishmeet and Harshit emerged finalists in a competition which saw 12 contestants from every nook and corner of the country enter the final audience round (where the fate of the contestants was decided through audience votes).
