'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contestants to rock Lucknow Mahotsav

Lucknow, Nov 15 (UNI) Aneek Dhar and Punam Yadav -- the popular contestants of the recently concluded 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' on Zee TV -- would enthral the audience with their melodious voice at the annual Lucknow Mahotsav.

The Lucknow Mahotsav -- the days full of festive events and star studded evenings laden with entertainment, crafts, cuisines, music and dance -- commencing from November 27, will be inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.

Talking to UNI, Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Shanker Pandey and District Magistrate Chandra Bhanu said this year, 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' contestants would add to the magic of the annual event, which is synonymous with the culture of the city of nawabs.

They, however, said the performance date was still not finalised.

Besides, several other programmes comprising Akhil Bharatiya Kavi Sammelan, mini marathon and cultural events would be organised, they informed.

They said the Mahotsav would be concluded with the musical feast Bollywood singer Anuradha Podwal and Rajendra Jain.
