RIYADH, Nov 15 (Reuters) OPEC ministers will debate a possible rise in crude production when they meet next month, Nigerian Oil Minister Odein Ajumogobia said on Thursday.
Asked whether OPEC would raise output when it meets on Dec. 5, he said: ''We haven't got the agenda yet but it will certainly be among the issues to be discussed at the Abu Dhabi meeting.'' He also said Nigeria was pumping 1.8 million barrels per day (bpd) of its 2.2 million bpd OPEC quota.
''Potential capacity, if you look at shut in oil in the Niger Delta... the potential capacity is... 2.8 (million bpd), that's what I'm told,'' he told reporters in the Saudi capital.
