Patna, Nov 15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today greeted the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of its foundation day and the anniversary of Birsa Munda, and wished prosperity for the people of Bihar and Jharkhand.
Addressing a function, Mr Kumar said both the states were culturally united and Birsa Munda was worshipped by all. He said the people of Bihar were still in despair following division of the state.
However, the people of Bihar were cooperating in the developmental activities and hoped that the harmony between the two states would help in progress of both states.
Earlier, Bihar Governor R S Gavai unveiled the statue of the great martyr Birsa installed near the Rajya Sinchai Bhawan in the state secretariat.
