Chandigarh, Nov 14 (UNI) The Haryana government has decided to celebrate State Level Cooperative Day function on November 16 at Jind to review the progress made by cooperative movement in the state.
Stating this here today, a spokesman for the Haryana State Cooperative Development Federation said Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would be the Chief Guest of the occasion and address the cooperators. Agriculture Minister Harmohinder Singh Chatha would preside over the function.
Over 50,000 people from all over the state would join the celebrations, he added.
He said an impressive exhibition would be put up wherein various products and services of Cooperative Institutions would be displayed for the benefit of the people.
The Cooperation Minister would inaugurate the exhibition put up by the Cooperative Department, Cooperative Institutions and other departments for the display and sale of the products produced by them.
A cultural programme would also be organised on this occasion in which popular Haryanvi Singers would present their songs.
