Opportunity for Munaf Patel to make a come back in Team India

By Staff

Jaipur, Nov 14 (UNI) Maharashtra medium pacer Munaf Patel has a golden opportunity to prove his worth during their four-day Ranji Trophy match against hosts Rajasthan commencing here tomorrow, if he wish to regain his place back in the Indian team.

Munaf, who has been struggling to find place in the national team, would fine ideal conditions here on a green top wicket which will suit medium pacers. But one thing which might go against him is his last match's poor performance against Tamilnadu.

Rajasthan also had medium pacer Pankaj Singh, who has recently represented India 'A' team, to compete with him in the match as he has good performances under his kitty. Despite their loss against Delhi in the recently concluded match, Pankaj impressed all by scalping 10 wickets.

The two teams had net practice in the morning session at the match venue but none of them declared their final eleven today. The team will be selected tomorrow before the start of the match.
