Beed, Maharashtra, Nov 14 (UNI) Rameshwar Munde (22), nephew of senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde, was seriously injured after he was stabbed by his business partner in Vidyanagar area of Parli, about 70 km from here.
Rameshwar's partner Sunil Nagargoje (30) had a dispute with him over a contract relating to the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company work in neighbouring Osmanabad district.
Yesterday, they had an altercation over the issue following which Sunil and his relative Madhukar Nagargoje allegedly attacked Rameshwar with a knife, causing serious injuries to the latter.
Sunil was absconding. Police have arrested Madhukar on charge of attempt to murder, Additional Superintendent of Police, Ambajogai, Subhash Mohekar said.
Rameshwar has been admitted to a Parli hospital, where his condition is stated to be critical.
