Panipat, Nov 14 (UNI) Former Haryana Chief Minister and INLD supremo Om Prakash Chautala today accused the Haryana government of creating the worst power crisis in the state, particularly in rural areas.

''Though the power supply schedules are announced every now and then, there is hardly any supply during these hours because of unscheduled power cuts which have become the order of the day,'' he said while addressing public meetings in various villages of Smalkha assembly constituency.

Mr Chautala said the rural areas were being completely neglected and hardly any new facilities were being provided to improve the living conditions of the ruralites.

He alleged that due to pro-capitalist and anti-farmer policies of the UPA government at the Centre and the Hooda government in Haryana, it had become difficult for the poor and lower middle class families to sustain their living.
