Jammu, Nov 14 (UNI) A green top awaits the Ranji Trophy Plate Group-B match between hosts Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Pradesh scheduled to be played here tomorrow.
As per official sources in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), the host team has decided to field the same team that played against Railways in their first match in New Delhi and lost by an innings and 80 runs.
However, the MP team reached here yesterday afternoon and attended a net session today morning along with their counterparts.
Suneet Sharma, Joint Secretary, Jammu Wing, JKCA, told UNI that the green top has been prepared for the tie between both the teams and it would benefit pacers and batsmen as well. ''As J&K has to play three more matches, the wicket has been prepared keeping in the mind the suitable climatic conditions,'' Mr Sharma said.
The Jammu and Kashmir are scheduled to play against Haryana (Nov 23-Nov 26), Jharkhand (Dec 2-4) and Goa (Dec 9-12) here.
