New Delhi, Nov 14 (UNI) The Hyderabad-based Goldstone Technologies Ltd, a leading software technology and services company, will be launching its IPTV services in the two South-East Asian countries of Malaysia and Thailand.
As part of its strategy to expand into IPTV services, Goldstone has tied-up with MOL AccessPortal Berhad (MOL) of Malaysia to launch the IPTV service in Malaysia, said a statement.
In Thailand, Goldstone Technologies has signed an agreement with Synap Media and Infotech Co Ltd, a business group which is aspiring to have a strong presence in the hospitality industry in Thailand.
Synap is already in the process of launching its hospitality services in 2,000 hotel rooms in Thailand.
Goldstone will provide a portfolio of programming through its IPTV service in Thailand which has a sizeable Indian population.
Currently only one Hindi and three Tamil channels are available to these Indians from existing service providers.
Goldstone says that with its IPTV services, subscribers will not only have wide option to watch Indian TV channels, but can also watch movies and TV programmes on demand, a service which is not provided by any other service providers.
Apart from its global IPTV service, Goldstone also has its IPTV service project underway in India, in association with the public sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited over its broadband network.
