Freedom Fighter pensions cases being pursued
Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Minister for Revenue and Relief Dharmana Prasada Rao said that 14,000 applicants were seeking freedom fighter pension under the government of India scheme in the state.
Replying to a question by V.R.R. Reddygari, K.R Amos and others in the legislative council during the question hour, he said in view of the large number of complaints about the genuiness of the applications, the government was verifying them, including those already sanctioned by the Centre.
He said as soon as the process was completed, the cases would be forwarded to Central Government for sanction.
