New faces, women to represent in ministry: BJP Chief
Bangalore, Nov 13 (UNI) New faces and women will be given due importance while expanding the five-member coalition ministry headed by B S Yeddyurappa, State BJP President D V Sadananda Gowda said today.
Speaking to newspersons here, he said the Chief Minister would consult all sections in the party and finally select the ministerial aspirants to be included in the ministry.
Ministers would be finally selected keeping in view various factors, including the capacity to face the opposition challenges, he added.
Replying to queries, he said the party would never misuse the office of the Chief Minister and instead coordinate with the Chief Minister to take up various developmental works.
The government would take an unanimous decision after consulting all party leaders with regard to the Datta Peeta issue, he added.
Earlier, Mr Yeddyurappa visited the party office and interacted with the office-bearers for over an hour.
