Mayawati suspends Moradabad Commissioner during surprise inspection
Moradabad/Bulandshahr, Nov 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati today suspended Moradabad Divisional Commissioner Shyam Manohar Srivastava after finding him lacking in administrative control over various government schemes.
Ms Mayawati, who reached Bhojpur village of her hometown Bijnore in Moradabad division this afternoon as part of the divisional review meetings, was unhappy with the development works.
The Chief Minister immediately ordered suspension of the divisional commissioner of Moradabad division, besides suspending Panchayati Raj Deputy Director Asaf Ali Khan, Project Director Ramesh Chandra and Rural Engineering Services (RES) Executive Engineer Jawahar Singh.
Earlier in the day, she made a surprise check in Bulandshahr district under Meerut division and supended five doctors, including Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Hiralal Bansal and senior Medical Superintendent T N Sharma of that district.
The BSP supremo inspected the district hospital, where she visited various wards, medicine store and Outdoor Patients Department (OPDs). In the process, she found several medicos absent from the duty prompting her to suspend CMO, MS and three doctors.
In Bulandshahr, Ms Mayawati reached village Deoli of Gulawati tehsil and walked on foot to take stock of the implementation of various developmental schemes.
