Man-daughter among 4 killed in road accidents

Mirzapur, Nov 13 (UNI) At least four people, including a father-daughter duo, were killed and two others severely injured in separate road accidents here today.

NCL engineer Narsingh Pandey and daughter Sanju (13) were killed on the spot when the car they were travelling in hit a roadside tree.

Other members of Pandey' family, including his wife Pramila (48), another daughter Anju and the driver of the car, Kamlesh were admitted to the Varanasi district hospital in a critical condition, where Pramila succumbed to her injuries.

The family was on there way to Gopalganj in Bihar from Mirzapur, when the accident occured near village Baraipur in Adalhatt area.

In a separate incident, a man was crushed under the wheels of a speeding truck in Cheelh area of the city.

The deceased was identified as Sandeep Kumar of Varanasi.

The bodies have been sent for autopsy, police said.
