Chandigarh, Nov 13 (UNI) Travel and tour operators at the ongoing World Travel Market (WTM) in London showed keen interest in Farm Tourism for which Haryana has taken the lead by registering 23 private farm houses around Delhi.
The youngsters, visiting the Haryana stall at Indian Pavilion at the WTM, however showed interest in Golf Tourism and Adventure Tourism, an official release said here today.
Meanwhile, Haryana Minister of State for Tourism Kiran Choudhry gave a presentation on a seminar on 'Future of Tourism at Excel, London' organised by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association.
Ms Choudhry spoke on investment opportunities available in Haryana in the field of Tourism and endeavours of Haryana Tourism to make the state a tourist destination.
She discussed about the North India Circuit and the new packages launched by Haryana Tourism.
Earlier, Ms Kiran Choudhry was welcomed by Mr Sagar Ahluwalia, Secretary General PATWA, represented by more than 70 countries.
