Bhubaneswar,Nov 13 (UNI) The Confederation of Indian Industry, Orissa, in association with the state government will organise Enterprise Orissa 2007, an industrial and consumer fair, from December six to 10 to showcase the achievement of Orissa industries.
CII Orissa Chapter Chairman H M Neurkar told newsmen here today that the objective of the fair was to give an opportunity to the exhibitors and the ancillary industries to showcase their products and the government departments to project their achievement and prospect available in the state.
The exhibition would also highlight the R&R activities in the state, invite investment to Orissa for value addition in relevant sector, he said.
Mr Neurkar said this year the theme ' Building people-Building Orissa'' was selected keeping in mind the need for skill development to cope with the rapid industrialisation. It would provide a platform for one to one interaction with resource provider and consumers to help build a better Orissa.
He said around 150 stalls are expected to be put up by the industries, banking, insurance, automobiles, services industries, government department, home appliances sector to exhibit their products and achievements during the five day long fair.
A seminar on '' Investor-Investor Meet with focus on agro- processing, mineral, tourism, and infrastructure would also be organised besides flower show competition, quiz competition and cultural functions.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to inaugurate the function, Mr Neurkar said.
