Khandelwal,
who
represented
Betul
in
the
Lok
Sabha,
passed
away
at
a
hospital
in
Nagpur
late
last
night
following
renal
failure
caused
by
diabetes,
party
sources
today
said.
Khandelwal was 72. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
The mortal remains of the parliamentrian are being brought to this district headquarters where the funeral is scheduled tomorrow.
Khandelwal, who was also the BJP treasurer, had represented this constituency for the fourth time.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and other leaders expressed grief at his demise.
