Bangalore, Nov 12 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior BJP leader L K Advani today said Karnataka offered endless political opportunities.
Speaking to newspersons onboard an aircraft from New Delhi to Bangalore, he said the party had always potential in the state.
Mr Advani, said it was Karnataka which recorded the highest number of arrests in 1975 when the country witnessed emergency. ''I was part of this and spent 17 of the 19 months in Bangalore prison.
If at all there is any place where I had stayed for a long time without going anywhere, it is Bangalore city,'' he added.
Later, Party President Rajnath Singh said with the installation of the BJP-led government in Karnataka, the party had spread its base in all directions.
