HC relieves advocate of contempt charges
New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) The Delhi High Court today relieved an advocate of contempt charges.
Hearing the suo moto petition, the division bench headed by Justices B N Chaturvedi and G S Sistani ordered the contempt charges against the apologising advocate to be discharged.
Appearing before Trial Court Judge Sujata Kohli on April 4, Advocate Rajshri Bhatnagar had made offending remarks against her, earning wrath of the court.
However, she tendered her unconditional and unqualified apology for her unsavoury remarks.
Accepting the apology, the court ordered the contempt charges to be discharged.
