Effigy of Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee burnt in J'khand capital
Ranchi, Nov 12 (UNI) The Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today took out a procession and burnt effigy of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee here protesting aginst the Nandigram violence.
Meanwhile, Jharkhand Disom Party president and former MP Salkan Murmu also reacted strongly to the incident saying the recurring violence leading to killing of common people exposed the ''real'' face of the Left parties.
In the afternoon, the NSUI-led procession converged at Albert Ekka Chowk here and criticised the Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee government in West Bengal and expressed condolences to the families of those innocent people killed in indiscriminate firing by the CPM cadres.
