New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Any complaints of corruption against Indian Institutes of Technology can be made to the Human Resource Development Ministry's Chief Vigilance Officer, it was officially stated today.
Besides IITs, a Ministry statement also listed dozens of other organisations it funds against which such complaints can be made to the CVO.
The organisations it listed included Central Universities, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, National Institutes of Technology and the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Also listed are the University Grants Commission, the All India Council of Technical Education and the National Council for Teacher Education.
The list included the National Council of Educational Research and Training, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and other Central Educational Institutions.
It said ''corruption complaints'' can be made to their respective Central Vigilance Officers as well as the Chief Vigilance Officer or Under Secretary (Vigilance) in C Wing of Shastri Bhavan in New Delhi.
