Bangalore, Nov 12 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh today demanded dismissal of West Bengal government for its failure on all fronts.

Speaking to newsmen here, Mr Singh, who was here to attend the swearing in ceremony of his party leader B S Yeddyurappa as the Chief Minister of Karnataka, charged that constitutional machinery had broken down in that state and the CPM government had abdicated all its responsibilities to protect the constitution and the people.

What the state government did in Nandigram symbolised 'dictatorship and tyranny,' he remarked.

He condemned the atrocities on innocent people in Nandigram and said while CPM cadres killed people, West Bengal police stood a mute spectators and over 20000 people were rendered without any shelter and relief.

He said the country was drifting towards mid term poll and BJP was fully prepared to 'call the bluff' in the people's court.
