DUBAI, Nov 12 (Reuters) Airbus said on Monday it expects to receive orders for 1,100 of its aircraft this year, including 300 A350 XWBs.
''So far, at the end of October, we were at 1,021 ... we're clearly going over 1,100,'' John Leahy, chief operating officer for sales told reporters at an air show in Dubai.
Airbus Chief Executive Tom Enders said the company was increasing its rate of production and would continue to do so.
He said the company would deliver 450 aircraft this year.
