Addressing a press conference yesterday, he said the event would bring an awareness on the various economic and environmental advantages the country would be having as a result of 'cow protection projects'.
There was an inborn respect, love and veneration for the animal 'cow' ingrained in Indian tradition, on account of the wide ranking utility of the animal as a household companion for most of our rural families, he said.
'Cow Protection' as a concept would support the economic viability of the farming community of the entire nation and significantly boost the economic conditions of rural India, he added.
TTD EO K V Ramanachary said at least 2,700 delegates from across the country, from various 'Go samrakshna samitis', including eminent agro scientists and experienced animal husbandry and agriculture management consultants would participate in the conference.
Padmabushan Prof N S Ramaswamy from Bangalore would deliver a key note address on the inaugural day, he informed.
