MDMK to take part in rally to mourn Thamilselvan's killing
Chennai, Nov 11 (UNI) The Marumalarchi DMK (MDMK) will participate in the rally tomorrow, organised by the Tamil Eelam Liberation Coordination Committee to condole the killing of LTTE political wing leader S P Thamilselvan, defying police ban.
In a statement here, MDMK general secretary Vaiko, a staunch supporter of Eelam Tamils, alleged that Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had directed the police not to give permission for the rally.
However, as announced by the coordination committee convener P Nedumaran, the MDMK would participate in the rally, he said, appealing to his party workers to assemble at Munroe statue here.
