JKNPP led Jammu migrants to stage 'dharna' on Nov 15
Jammu, Nov 11 (UNI) Alleging fraud with the Jammu migrants over relief announced by the state government, hundreds of Talwara migrants led by Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Chairman Prof Bhim Singh and members, will stage demonstration outside Parliament House in the national capital on November 15.
Speaking to the mediapersons at a press conference here, the JKNPP Chairman Prof Bhim Singh said the state government has played a foul with the Jammu migrants and instead of fresh forms, the Relief Commissioner issued forms related to Kashmiri migrants for the sanction of the relief.
''The inquiries made in the forms related to Kashmiri Valley migrants but not to Jammu migrants, which has cleared the intentions of the state government,'' Prof Bhim Singh said adding that party will move to the Supreme Court and a contempt of court case will be filed against the Relief Commissioner.
''The Divisional Commissioner on October 30, signed an agreement and it was announced by him that relief will be provided to the migrants by November 1, but despite his orders, the Relief Commissioner refused to carry out the agreement,'' he told mediapersons adding that the matter also has been reported to the Prime Minister.
''Hundreds of Talwara migrants including women and children will stage demonstration outside Parliament House on November 15 demanding immediate relief for them,'' Prof Bhim said.
