Health assistants call off hunger strike
Hyderabad, Nov 11 (UNI) Health assistants of para-medical and health department today called off their indefinite hunger strike after the Health Minister assured to look into their demands.
In a release here, Contract Para Medical and Health Employees Association President N Ashok said the state government had agreed to issue a Government Order (GO), bringing the contract employees under the purview of PRC.
He said the Health Minister had assured to look into their demand of regularisation of services of the contract employees and take up the issue with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekahra Reddy.
