Prez rule revoked in Karnataka

The
Cabinet
Committee
on
Political
Affairs
today
decided
to
revoke
President"s
rule
in
India"s
southern
Karnataka.
The decision came in the wake of the report submitted by the Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur to the Central Government on November 6 and the move of BJP-JDS combine parading their MLA"s before the President in New Delhi. The cabinet decision paves the way for the first ever BJP government in southern India.
