Ludhiana, Nov 10 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today called upon leaders of different political parties to desist from personal attacks in the larger interests of the state.

Addressing a state level function organised to celebrate ''Parkash Utsav'' of Baba Vishwakarama at Guru Nanak Bhawan here, he clarified that his government was not persuing the politics of vendetta against any political leader as not a single leader had been arrested.

Stressing upon the need to accelerate the integrated development of the state and to strengthen the economy, the Chief Minister said a conflict free and tension free environment was the main ingredient of development. Referring to SAD-BJP 'misunderstanding'', Mr Badal said that it was a communication gap.

He said to tackle such issues between the alliance partners in future, a seven member state level committee comprising three senior BJP and four SAD leaders had been constituted which would hold periodical meetings to discuss the inter-party issues.

From BJP side state party president Rajinder, Local Bodies Minister Manoranjan Kalia and MP Navjot Singh Sidhu and from SAD side party acting president Sukhbir Singh Badal, general secretary Balwinder Singh Bhunder, MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, and Capt Kanwaljit Singh will be the members of the committee.

Mr Badal said that for this purpose, district level committees were also being formed, which would sort out the issues at local level.
