Monsoon active over Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 9 (UNI) The North East monsoon has been active over Kerala, while rain occurred at isolated places in Lakshadweep.
According to the local Met office here today, Varkala received the highest rainfall of 14 cm, followed by Thiruvananthapuram Airport and city -- 11 cm each.
Nedumangad recorded eight cm, while Alapuzha received six cm rain. It was four and three cm rain at Mangombu and Kottayam respectively, the Met office said.
Rain or thundershowers were likely at a few places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.
